Greg over at BloodHoundBlog has been busy trying to launch BHB.TV . Yesterday, I had the opportunity to be a successful guinea pig. Greg interviewed me live from the NAR 2007 convention. Greg was sitting in the comfort of his home in Phoenix, and I was at the wi-fi hot spot in the Venetian hotel. That is pretty cool. Greg asked me about my take on the convention so far, and more specifically, about the session I attended yesterday with Rich Barton of Zillow.com. Today, A Zebra Shows His Stripes

If you have been following along with my NAR 2007 coverage, you know that on Tuesday, I attended a presentation by Seth Godin. The message he shared was, “be remarkable.” Today, I am going to try to do just that. But first, some background. . .On the way to the airport to head out to Vegas, Kari and I were discussing how to promote RealEstateZebra.com. We talked about the idea of me actually wearing a referee shirt, or at least some zebra-themed clothing. In a way, I already do this, as Kari gave me a wonderful pair of Zebra-striped cufflinks for my birthday last year (I love great cufflinks). Seeing as how I didn’t bring any referee shirts with me (duh), we kinda blew it off. Then, when we were at the Seth Godin presentation, Jeff Turner turned to me and said, “hey man, you could wear stripes.” Again, we joked about it, and I sort of blew it off. He also posted this picture of the people working the Chase Bank booth at the Expo on his Twitter with the message, “Will the real Real Estate Zebra please stand up.” I don’t want there to be any doubt, and today is a perfect opportunity to do that. I will be doing a “Meet the Bloggers“ Q&A at the NAR Expo today at 10am. This is what I am wearing:
So there.Today is the day I show my stripes. I haven’t even been to the expo yet, and I have already had two people comment on my shirt. I guess that means it is, at least in some small way, remarkable.I’m going to wear the shirt all day at the Conference. NAR2007 Be Remarkable Video

The highlight of NAR2007 Day 1 for me was Seth Godin. Las Vegas is the perfect place to learn how to “be remarkable.” I made the video earlier this morning while I was on my way to the convention center for day 2 of NAR2007. The video was made from my phone, so the quality is what it is (it’s a little better over on my Utterz Page). I kinda like the ability to make video and post it through Utterz. I find it interesting for certain applications, such as this one. There are times when I think of things, but obviously am not sitting at a computer to write a post. This happened to be one of those moments. I will be writing a more expanded post on Seth Godin and his presentation, but the video captures my thoughts at a particular moment in time. Pretty cool.
