Today is my favorite day of the year (no, not election day). Today is my wedding anniversary. Typically, Kari and I would take today off, but alas, such is not possible today. Kari and I were married 3 years ago on this day. Since we have been together for nearly 11 years now, having gone to high school and college together; and now running a business together; almost all of my memories are touched by Kari in one way or another. That is just the way I like it.
Without Kari, there would be no Zebra, both figuratively and literally (since the concept for The Real Estate Zebra was her idea). She is my best critic and my biggest supporter. She makes me a better man, and for that I love her more every day.

Finally, a Real Estate Movie!

I have always thought that real estate would make for a great movie. Plenty of drama, and no shortage of bizarre situations. Unfortunately, I can’t always figure out if mine would be comedy or a tragedy.
Someone saw fit to make a comedy. Closing Escrow is a real estate comedy playing in select cities. I must admit, the trailer looks pretty funny. Go check it out if you live near one of the select cities. As for me, I guess I’ll have to wait for the DVD.

Check out the cool little computer game, Mansion Impossible. Your goal: flip properties until you can move into the big mansion. It has the two video game requirements– simple premise, high addiction factor.
