Going the distance and maintaining your blog.

Moderated by: Jeff Turner, President, RealEstateShows.com

The Next Level?

The title got me to thinking, what exactly is the next level? I just wanted to share some of my initial thoughts with you here, and I’ll probably spend a bit more time addressing this topic as the event approaches.

The entire lineup for Bloggers Connect is fabulous, and I hope that I will see you there!

So true. Taking your blog to the next level is definitely going to look different from one blog to the next. I think we can help by narrowing down some blog types (ex: RE industry, broker centered, agent centered, neighborhood etc.), addressing ways to reach specific audiences (& grow readership & community), AND potentially looking at ways to monetize your blog by incorporating features and resources that won’t distrac- but actually lend to the content.

Boy, that was a mouth full. I’ve been thinking on this one too Daniel. Looking forward to getting down to business at the Connect. So much great information to come our way! I can’t wait! See you soon!

Good start, Daniel. For realtors like me, who want to touch more qualified prospects, the “next level” is how to achieve that so that prospects are primed and ready by the time they contact me F2F. What are the tools? How do I create little worlds in my site to prospects can create their own ‘little Santa Fe’ and add stuff to it - like a mini Evernote, perhaps?

My blog’s next level would be to publish more personal real estate related comment. You know, posts that involve more than just “what sold last month” and “current interest rate” topics. Finding the time to write such posts while maintaing a career is the tough part.

    I liked the statues.
